Product Owner [South Africa]

 

Our client looking for an experienced Product Owner to join their company and provide guidance in managing and prioritizing the team backlog; supporting the team in delivering value to their
clients, as well as engaging effectively with their clients requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in an IT related qualification
• Agile training and certification
• At least 5 years in a product owner or similar role
• An IT technical background is advantageous.
• Life insurance background Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholder.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Refining of backlog, with input from the team
• Translate customers needs to the team.
• Mentor and transfer knowledge regarding standards / best practices especially while doing
• reviews.
• Drive efficiency in customers' business processes
• Documenting the content of proposals (with input from the team and other experts in the business):
• 1. Solution
• 2. Define the business value
• 3. Estimated effort.
• Creation and enhancement of the companys training content
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with customers, together with the Account Managers.
• Maintain client solution knowledge base.
